EnduranceandGT.co.uk was launched in 2016 by Andy Lloyd, a life-long motorsport enthusiast whose passion for sportscar racing was fuelled by a trip to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the late 1990s. Since then he has attended the great race over twenty times, being fortunate enough to attend twice as a member of a leading LMP2 team based in the South-East of England.

EnduranceandGT.co.uk primarily focuses on series organised by the SRO Motorsports Group and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest. For 2018 these will include the British GT Championship, the Blancpain GT Series, the European Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship. EnduranceandGT.co.uk will also cover the 2018 Pirelli World Challenge from North America and selected rounds of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

EnduranceandGT.co.uk will be attending the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans, providing a daily insight into the build-up to the running of the Great Race and coverage throughout the race itself.

2018 is shaping up to be another classic year of global prototype and GT racing. The 2018 FIA World Endurance Championship ‘Super Season’ encompassing, as it does, not one but two runnings of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps should prove fascinating.

The EnduranceandGT.co.uk team very much looks forward to visiting some of the most iconic race circuits in the world in 2018 and rekindling friendships with sportscar enthusiasts from around the globe.
