SRO Motorsports Group has announced that Amazon Web Services (‘AWS’) will become a title sponsor for GT World Challenge.

In 2019, AWS entered into a collaboration with GT World Challenge to become the official cloud and machine learning provider for SRO America as well as a series partner of Pirelli GT4 America and TC America.

For 2020 AWS has increased its commitment to become the new title presenter for GT World Challenge and will be known as ‘GT World Challenge Powered By AWS’. The agreement also sees AWS become the official and machine learning provider for GT World Challenge.

SRO Motorsports Group founder and CEO Stephane Ratel is delighted with his organisation’s partnership with one of the world’s largest on-demand cloud computing platforms.

“It gives me great pride to welcome AWS as the new title presenter of GT World Challenge and to secure the company’s continued commitment to SRO America,” said Stephane Ratel. “As an innovative and future-focused brand, AWS is the perfect fit for this fast-moving sport and represents that ideal partner for our global championship.”

AWS Deputy CISO CJ Moses is also looking forward to the opportunities that the new agreement will offer.

“We are excited to be working alongside SRO to develop the next generation of GT sportscar racing,” said CJ Moses,. “Innovation means challenging the status quo and working closely with SRO allows to use our broad catalog of cloud-based services, unleashing innovation of their sport.”
