“It’s Going To be A Fantastic Event!” – Student Motorsport Looks Forward To MotorsportDays LIVE 2019. (21.10.19)

JP Latham, founder of Student Motorsport, the UK’s only on-line motorsport and education network for students, graduates, educators, professionals and organisations, is looking forward to his company’s participation in MotorsportDays LIVE.

“MotorsportDays LIVE is going to be a fantastic event,” said JP Latham. “I’m looking forward to meeting the various motorsport organisations and educational establishments that are exhibiting for the show’s second year. We’ve been responsible for inviting educators involved in motorsport education and are thrilled we have attracted several that will be exhibiting themselves at this year’s event.

“Equally as important we look forward to meeting students and young people seeking guidance and support at the start of their careers. It’s vital we celebrate the good things that are taking place in motorsport education and crucial we help motorsport and education to better engage.”

Motorsport Days LIVE is Europe’s only on-track trade event offering race competitors, track day users, performance car buyers and industry professionals a fresh opportunity to come together and source from an array of exhibitors. The event, to be held at Silverstone on November 1 – 2 and which attracts over 4,000 visitors, offers networking opportunities as well as the chance to sample cars and products at the UK’s premier racing venue.

Student Motorsport is an Event Partner with MotorsportDays LIVE and will be looking to extend its network and build new relationships. The on-line network has been growing steadily over the past twelve months. Recent developments include the growth of its popular careers programmes, online social media groups and a new website which will be launching before the show on the 1st.

“Student Motorsport has been doing vital work with students, educators and motorsport organisations this season,” said JP Latham. “MotorsportDays LIVE is the perfect platform to present how we can bring together young people and educational establishments at the start of their careers and involvement in motorsport with teams and businesses looking for the next generation of motorsport professionals.”

“The UK is a global leader in the motorsport world with many teams and suppliers choosing to make this country their base,” continued JP Latham. “Organisations need a supply of well-educated and young professionals with relevant work experience to help them succeed in today’s highly competitive environment.

“Student Motorsport helps young people to better showcase themselves, connect and seek out exciting and realistic opportunities. We do many things but pride ourselves on supporting students, institutions and professionals in the motorsport and engineering industries to fuel education and career development.”

Speaking earlier in the year, event organiser Ben Whibley, Director of BWR Media Ltd, is excited about the opportunities that the partnership with Student Motorsport will offer.

“Combining the successful work that Student Motorsport is doing and the platform that we have created with MotorsportDays LIVE, students, graduates, schools, colleges and universities can now get even closer to those within a living racing environment, get first hand work experience and gain vital contacts for their future development.”

Over 150 exhibitors will be showcasing their educational projects and courses, latest products, engineering and technology at the two-day event with more than 200 performance vehicles and race cars being demonstrated on the Silverstone International Circuit.
