The series organisers of the Intelligent Money British GT Championship have announced a revised calendar for the 2021 season.
Traditionally the championship gets underway over the Easter weekend at Oulton Park with two one-hour sprint races.
In response to possible concerns about restrictions on sporting events due to the pandemic, the season has now been pushed back to start in May at Brands Hatch.
The new calendar will now be as follows:
May 22 – 23: Brands Hatch (1 x 2-hour race)
June 26 – 27: Silverstone 500 (1 x 3-hour race)
July 10 – 11: Donington Park (1 x 2-hour race)
July 24 – 25: Spa-Francorchamps (1 x 2-hour race)
August 7 – 8: Snetterton (2 x 1-hour races)
September 11 – 12: Oulton Park (2 x 1 hour races)
October 16 – 17: Donington Park (1 x 2-hour race)
