TDS Racing To Campaign Norma M30 LM P3 In ALMS and ELMS

Saint-Aunes, France-based TDS Racing has announced that it will campaign a Norma M30 in LM P3 category of the 2016/17 Asian Le Mans Series. It will also commit to expanding its presence in the 2017 European Le Mans Series by entering the LM P3 category with its new car alongside its current LMP2 programme.

“We decided to enter Norma M30s and are delighted to work alongside Norbert Santos on the new LM P3 project,” said TDS Racing Co-Owner Xavier Combet. “We strongly believe that with the Norma M30, competitiveness will be in our hands. Our objective is to train drivers and to prepare cars to win races, as we have done in the past in different motorsport disciplines such as World Series by Renault or GT3.”

“We will start this new programme in Asia this coming winter (in the Asian Le Mans Series) and go on in the 2017 ELMS,” continued Combet. “We want to create a true driver training pyramid to help them succeed at the highest level of endurance racing.”

Thiriet By TDS Racing currently sit third in the LM P2 Teams Classification of the 2016 European Le Mans Series on 26 points, four behind SMP Racing.

The third round of the European Le Mans Series will be held at the Red Bull Ring on July 17.
