SRO Motorsports Group, the series organiser of the GT World Challenge and the Intercontinental GT Challenge, has launched the poster for the 2020 running of its blue riband event, the Total 24 Hours of Spa
The poster, the second to be designed by ‘Michael Vaillant’ illustrator Guillaume Lopez, shows the circuit in autumnal colouring, reflecting the postponement of the event from its original date in July to October 22 – 25.
The central car in the artwork carries the livery of the Frikadelli Racing Team, in tribute to the manufacturer’s success in the 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge, where the Stuttgart marque beat Mercedes-AMG to the manufacturers title by seven points.
The 2020 Total 24 hours of Spa will be the third event in the 2020 IGTC calendar.
Of interest to enthusiasts of GT racing is that tickets have gone on sale for the event with no mention of the race being held behind closed doors, a positive step for fans of the world’s greatest 24-hour race for GT3 machinery.
