Porsche Penske Motorsport Confirms 2026 IMSA Driver Lineup

Porsche Penske Motorsport has confirmed its 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship driver lineups.

In the #7 Porche 963, Felipe Nasr will be joined by Julien Andlauer for the full season with Laurin Heinrich joining the duo for the Michelin Endurance Cup events.

In the #6 car, Kevin Estre will be partnered with Laurens Vanthoor for the full season, Matt Campbell completing the driver trio for the Endurance Cup races.

#7 Porsche 963: Nasr & Andlauer Full Season, Heinrich for Endurance Cup

Felipe Nasr has taken top-class honours in WeatherTech Championship on three occasions; 2018, when alongside Eric Curran, he took one win and two further podiums om his way to title success with Whelen Engineering, 2021 and 2024, when the Brazilian driver drove the Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 to its first IMSA title.

Julien Andlauer, who was promoted to Porsche factory driver status in 2025 joined Porsche, has made 12 starts in the IMSA championship with his best result being a second in class in 2023 at Lime Rock.

Completing the line-up in the #7 car for the Michelin Endurance Cup events, Laurin Heinrich first raced in IMSA competition in 2024 when, alongside teammates Seb Priaulx, Michael Christensen, Julien Andlauer and Klaus Bachler, he won the GTD Pro drivers title, taking wins at Laguna Seca, Detroit and Indianapolis over the course of the season.

#6 Porsche 963: Estre & Vanthoor Reunited, Campbell Completes Endurance Trio

Kevin Estre is one of the longest serving Porsche factory drivers, having joined the Stuttgart manufacturer in 2016. The French driver moved to the Porsche Penske Motorsport for the 2023 FIA WEC season and alongside André Lotterer and Laurens Vanthoor, finished sixth in the season’s standings. Estre finished on the podium at the 2025 Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Vanthoor & Campbell: Proven 963 Race Winners Return

Vanthoor has also been with the Porsche Hypercar project from the beginning and took three IMSA victories in the 963 in 2025. Australian Matt Campbell combined almost full seasons in both the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the FIA WEC in 2025, taking wins at Laguna Seca and CoTA.

Track action for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship gets underway with the Roar Before The Rolex 24 on January the 16th.
