Alpine Announces Drivers for 2025 FIA WEC

Alpine has announced its driver line-ups for its second year in the Hypercar class of FIA World Endurance Championship.

Paul-Loup Chatin, Charles Milesi and Ferdinand Habsburg will return to pilot the #35 Alpine A424 while Mick Schumacher and Jules Gounon are joined by newcomer to the team Frédéric Makowiecki in the sister #36 car.

In its 2024 Hypercar debut in the WEC, Alpine, led by VP Alpine Motorsports Bruno Famin, Team Principal Philippe Sinault and Sporting Director Nicola Lapierre, finished 4th in the Manufacturers Championship after a season which saw the team take its first podium finish at Fuji when Lapiere, Shumacher and Mathieu Vaxiviere finished 3rd.

The 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship season gets underway with the Official Prologue at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar on the 21st and 22nd of February followed by the opening round, the Qatar 1812km, on the 28th of February.
