Cadillac Hertz Team Jota has announced its drivers for the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship, the first for Sam Hignett and David Clark’s Frant-based squad as a works team.
Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn will return for their third consecutive season as Cadillac teammates and will be joined by Sebastien Bourdais. The French driver is no stranger to Cadillac, having driven for the manufacturer in three WEC races and the full 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.
Joining Bamber, Lynn and Bourdais will be three Jota pilots who were part of the line-up that took the team to the FIA Hypercar Team World Cup Championship in 2024. Will Stevens, Jenson Button and Norman Nato will return to the team for the 2025 season.
Driver pairings will be annunced in due course as the team prepares for a shakedown of its Dallara chassis at the Anneau du Rhin circuit during the third week of November.
“We look forward to a successful 2025 WEC season with our new roster of V-Series.R drivers,” said Vice President, Global, Cadillac John Roth. “Racing provides an important testbed for Cadillac to transfer knowledge and technology between racecars and production Cadillacs, and our drivers are key to enabling this.”
Director and Co-Founder of JOTA Sport David Clark is delighted to be working with Cadillac.
“It’s an honour for us to pair with such an iconic automotive manufacturer,” he said. “When you consider our collective records in the FIA World Endurance Championship, it’s very fitting for the inaugural Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA driver line-up we have such an impressive breadth of world championship winning talent and experience.
“Cadillac’s pedigree in motorsport speaks for itself and with these six drivers we will be in a strong position to challenge for race wins.”
The 2025 WEC season gets underway on February the 28th with the Qatar 1812KM at the Lusail International Circuit.
