Cetilar Racing Wins Race 1 at ALMS in Sepang

Inter Europol tales LMP3 win as Manthey secures GT Victory

Antonio Fuoco, behind the wheel of the car he shared with Roberto Lacorte and Charles Milesi, brought the #47 Cetilar Racing Oreca home for the overall victory in the opening race of the 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series. The Italian pilot, who finished third in the 2025 FIA WEC Hypercar drivers championship, took the chequered flag 2.73 seconds ahead of the #25 Algarve Pro Racing entry driven by Tom Dillman, who shared the car with Michael Jensen and Enzo Trulli.

Completing the podium finishers was the #4 CrowdStrike Racing by APR driven by George Kurtz, Malthe Jacobsen and Louis Deletraz, Jacobsen crossing the line just under eight seconds behind Dillman.

Victory in the LMP3 class went to the #13 Inter Europol Competition Ligier piloted by Alex Bujhantsov, Chun Ting Chou and Henry Cubides which took the chequered flag less than a quarter of a second ahead of the #94 High Class Racing Ligier with Tim Whale, Philip Lindberg and Callum Voisin sharing the driving duties.

Third place in the LMP3 class went to the #17 CLX Motorsport entry of Alexander Jacoby, Kevin Rabin and Paul Lanchere.

In the GT class the lead changed hands on the final lap with the #10 Manthey Porsche 911 GT3 R taking the chequered flag with the #9 GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 just over a second behind. The final podium position went to the #56 Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 in the hands of Jonny Adam who shared the car with Giacomo Petrobelli and Kobe Pauwells.
