Ebor GT, who finished second in the 2016 British GT4 Pro Am Drivers Standings, returns to the British GT grid in time for the seventh round of the 2017 season at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps with its Maserati GT MC GT4..
Driving for the York-based team in its first British GT outing since the final round at Donington in 2016 will be the all-silver pairing of Matthew Graham and Charlie Fagg.
Graham currently lies joint eighth in the British GT GT4 drivers standings, having partnered Marcus Hoggarth in the #29 In2Racing McLaren 570S GT4 thus far in the season. 17-year old Fagg will be making his British GT debut at Spa. The young Durham-born driver began his racing career in the 2014 Ginetta Junior Winter Series and has been competing in the GT4 European Series Northern Cup this season with Sean Walkinshaw Racing.
“Spa is one of every driver’s favourite circuits to go to and I think the pairing of Charlie and I will work quite well,” said Graham. “I’ve got a bit of experience of it from last year in British GT and before that in single-seaters so hopefully I can help Charlie a lot in his first time over there.”
“After getting a podium there last year, I’m quite confident we can go out and have a really good showing,” continued Graham. “I think I’m driving well and I’m just hungry to keep getting some results under my belt. I think that’s showed in the drives I have put in at Silverstone to take third and Oulton Park to lay the ground to take second. It would be great if I could earn yet more silverware over there with Charlie and in what is such a fan-favourite car.”
Round Seven of the 2017 British GT Championship takes place at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on Saturday July 8.
