Morgan Tillbrook and Marcus Clutton’s Enduro Motorsport will become a multi-class team when it enters the GT4 category of the 2023 Intelligent Money British GT Championship.
Harry George and Harry Nunn will pilot the team’s new McLaren Artura GT4 and join the previously announced McLaren 720S GT3 entry to be driven by Tillbrook and Clutton.
Harry George was runner-up in last season’s Caterham 310R Championship while Harry Nunn has considerable experience in Minis, having finished second in the 2020 Quaife MINI Challenge Trophy.
“GT4 is a big step but I’ve learned a lot in Caterhams over the past two years and feel ready for British GT,” said Harry George. “Enduro has consistently shown themselves to be one of the championship’s top teams, partly because Morgan doesn’t do things by half, and I’m sure their new GT4 programme will be no different.”
Harry Nunn is determined to put a disappointing 2022 season behind him.
“Last year didn’t measure up to my own high expectations but 2023 represents an amazing opportunity to start again with a highly professional team that’s a proven winner at the top tier of British motorsport,” he said. “Other drivers have also successfully moved from Mini Challenge to GT4 in the past so I’m hopeful that Harry and I can be mixing it near the front from the off.
“We know it won’t be easy but the Artura looks like a very capable race car. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be this season.”
Marcus Clutton has big plans for Enduro Motorsport.
“We’ve run a GT4 car in GT Cup before but never on this scale,” said Clutton. “it’s a big investment but one that was always part of the plan. We ultimately want Enduro to become a ‘destination’ customer team in the future and running the GT4 entry alongside Morgan’s GT3 is just the first stage of that.”
Enduro’s GT3 and GT4 entries will be present for the championship’s pre-season Media Day on March 14 before the racing gets underway at Oulton Park on April 8 -10.
