Ferrari Takes WEC win at Imola as Manthey Secures LMGT3 victory

Alessandro Pier Guidi brought the #51 Ferrari AF Corse Ferrari 499P home to take victory in round 2 of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Imola. The Italian pilot, who shared the car with James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi, took the chequered flag just under 8.5 seconds ahead of the #20 BMW M Team WRT BMW M Hybrid V8 of Sheldon van der Linde, Rene Rast and Robin Frigns, van der Linde driving the final stint.

Completing the podium positions in Emilia-Romagna was the #36 Alpine Endurance Team Alpine A424 with Mick Schumacher at the wheel of the car he shared with Jules Gounon and Frederic Makowieicki.

Toyota Gazoo Racing finished 5th and 7th, the #8 GR010 driven by Sebastien Buemi leading the sister #7 car piloted for the final stint by Kamui Kobayashi.

Porshe Penske Motorsport finished 8th and 11th while the two Cadillac Hertz Team Jota Cadillac V-Series.Rs finishing 10th and 16th.

In the LMGT3 class the hard-fought victory went to the #92 Manthey 1ST Phorm Porsche 11 GT3 R LMGT3 driven by Ryan Hardwick, Riccardo Pera and, taking the chequered flag, Richard Lietz. Less than half a second behind was the #46 Team WRT BMW M4 LMGT3 driven by Kelvin van der Linde in the car he shared with Ahmad Al Harthy and Valentini Rossi.

Taking the final podium position in the LMGT3 class was the #78 Akkodis ASP Team Lexus RC F LMGT3 driven by Arnold Robin, Finn Gehrsitz and Estaban Masson.
