Forsetti Motorsport Partners with Aston Martin for 2024 GT Assault

Forsetti Motorsport, the new Norfolk-based GT team headed by Joe Holloway, has announced that it has partnered with Aston Martin Racing to become an official partner team for the UK marque.

With headquarters planned for the Snetterton Business Park, Forsetti Motorsport has ordered two new Aston Martin GT4s which will join an existing car to form the basis of the new team.

Technical Director Joe Holloway began his motorsport career as an engine builder with Engine Developments Ltd and has held positions with McLaren GT and the McLaren F1 team. Since 2019 Holloway has been a Digital Build Engineer at Haas F1 Team.

“Our team incorporates some of the brightest minds in the racing industry, who bring together their experience, expertise and unwavering dedication to propel us to the forefront of the sport,” said Joe Holloway. “The fusion of Aston Martin’s renowned elegance and engineering capabilities, coupled with the team’s pursuit of excellence has set the stage for us to make a strong impact in the GT racing world.”

Huw Tasker, Head of Partner Racing from Aston Racing, is delighted to welcome Forsetti Motorsport to Aston Martin fold.

“It is great to see Forsetti Motorsport join the Aston Martin Family and put their faith in the Aston Martin GT4,” he said. “The team has fantastic ambition, and a focus on performance that we would expect to serve them well.

“We look forward to working with them closely on their programmes and hope to be celebrating many successes together.”

The team will be announcing their 2024 racing plans in the next few weeks but are understood to be considering major GT racing championships both in the UK and in Europe.
