Málaga-based Bullitt Racing has announced that Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod, teammates in the #6 RAM Racing entry in this season’s British GT Championship, will contest the final two rounds of the GT4 South European Series in the team’s Mercedes-AMG GT4.
Loggie and MacLeod, who finished fifth in the GT3 drivers standings for the domestic championship, will compete at Round Five at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (Portimão) on October 25 – 27 and at Circuito do Estoril on November 23 – 24 for the final round.
Ian Loggie has previous experience with Bullitt Racing after winning the GT4 Pro-Am class at the Gulf 12 Hours in 2018 with the team. Portimão will be Callum MacLeod’s first race with the team.
Team owner Stephen Pattrick is delighted that the British GT duo will be joining Bullitt Racing for the Portuguese rounds.
“We’re really pleased to welcome back Ian back to Bullitt Racing,” said Stephen Pattrick. “The win for the team last December at the Gulf 12 Hours was a significant moment for us, especially having only established ourselves as a competitive race team in 2016.
“It was always our intention to join these final rounds of the 2019 GT4 South European Series and we’re delighted that Ian and Callum join us as such a strong driver line-up.”
Racing for the GT4 South European Series gets underway at 17:40 local time on Saturday October 26.
