Sonoma, California-based K-PAX Racing has announced its driver line-ups for its two Lamborghini Huracan Evo GT3s in preparation for the 2021 GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS all-Pro Championship campaign.

Lamborghini factory drivers Giovanni Venturini and Andrea Caldarelli will join the programme as will Corey Lewis, development driver of the Lamborghini’s factory programme.

Returning to K-PAX Racing will be 2020 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour winner Jordan Pepper. Pepper was part of the driver line-up for K-PAX’s 2020 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup assault in which the 24-year-old South African drove the team’s Bentley Continental GT3 alongside teammates Alex Buncombe, Andy Soucek, Alvaro Parente and Jules Gounon.

2019 Blancpain GT Series Europe champion Caldarelli will join Jordan Pepper in the #3 Huracan while Venturini and Lewis will share the driving duties in the team’s #6 entry.

K-PAX Racing Program Manager Darren Lewis is looking forward to the new season and the opportunities offered by the Lamborghini Huracan and the new driver roster.

“We are all very excited about the potential this season,” said Darren Law. “All four drivers are of championship caliber and have the credentials to prove it. Having three factory Lamborghini drivers will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our program and I have no doubt Jordan will speed up quickly. This past season he did a phenomenal job.

“He is very talented, he is fast and also has great race craft. He proved to us this year that he is the right driver for this program. We are all looking forward to testing and getting the race season started.”

Andrea Caldarelli, arguably the best Lamborghini GT3 driver in the world currently and who made guest appearances in the 2020 Intelligent Money British GT Championship, winning at Donington, is excited to contest a full season in the premier US domestic GT racing series.

“I’m really excited to race with K-PAX Racing this year in GT World Challenge America,” said Caldarelli. “It is going to be an amazing experience for me to race with such a high-level team. It will be very exciting but we will have a lot to learn. At the same time, we will definitely deliver great results.”

The 2021 GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS series gets underway at Sonoma on March 5 – 7.
