2019 Ginetta G40 Cup champion Chris Salkeld, who finished second in the 2020 Miller Oils Ginetta GT4 SuperCup Pro-Am class, will step up to the Intelligent Money British GT Championship in 2021 with Century Motorsport.
29-year-old Salkeld will be driving the Fenny Compton-based team’s second BMW M4 GT4. Gus Burton was previously announced as also moving up British GT.
Team owner Nathan Freke is delighted that Chris Salkeld is remaining with Century Motorsport as the Leeds-based driver progresses his career into the premier domestic GT championship.
“I’m very happy that Chris has stayed within the Century family and has progressed up into British GT.,” said Nathan Freke. “Whilst Chris has only been racing for three years, he has the right approach and has a good talent.
“I’m looking forward to getting testing with the cars and the drivers. With the new EVO upgrade, I’m sure we’re going to be a force to be reckoned with.”
Chris Salkeld is looking forward to making the step up to the Intelligent Money British GT Championship.

The 2021 Intelligent Money British GT Championship gets underway at Brands Hatch on May 22 – 23.
