JMH Automotive has announced that it will campaign a full-season entry in the 2020 British GT Championship.
The Holmes Chapel, Cheshire-based team, who combine an independent Porsche, Ferrari and Maserati specialist business with its racing activities, has entered a Lamborghini Huracán GT3, to be driven by John Seale and Jamie Stanley. The duo had previously raced in the Silverstone and Donington rounds of the 2019 British GT Championship season.
Seale and Stanley were recently crowned GTO class champions in this season’s GT Cup championship while JMH Automotive secured the teams title, over 100 points clear of their closest rivals.
John Seale, embarking on his first full season in the British GT Championship, is looking forward to the challenges ahead.
“Myself, Jamie and the team are all really pleased and excited to be joining to be joining British GT full-time next season,” said John Seale, who began his driving career in 2014 by winning the GT Cup UK – GTC title. “It’s been a personal ambition of mine for a number of years and I now feel ready, after spending a season racing the Lamborghini. We know it will be a step up and a lot of hard work but that’s okay: we’re eager to challenge ourselves against the best in Britain”.
2020 will Jamie Stanley’s 13th year in GT racing, having first competed in endurance machinery in the 2008 Britcar Championship. The Milton Keynes-based driver, who runs a successful driver coaching business, won the 2010 British GT Championship in the then G4 class.
The 2020 British GT Championship gets underway at Oulton Park on April 11 – 13.
