After 90 minutes of racing for the 2019 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Toyota Gazoo Racing held the overall lead after a determined stint from Mike Conway put the #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid over 30 seconds ahead of the sister #8 car with Sébastien Buemi at the wheel. Completing the overall top three, and first of the non-hybrids, was the #3 Rebellion Racing Rebellion R13 piloted by Gustavo Menezes.
In the LMP2 category, the #36 Signatech Alpine Matmut Alpine A470 with Nicolas Lapieer at the wheel. A liitle under 7.5 seconds behind was the #26 G-Drive Racing Aurus 01, piloted by Jean-Eric Vergne.
The highly competitive LMGTE Pro category saw #63 Corvetta Racing Chevrolet Corvette C7.R in the lead, being driven by Antonio Garcia, the #63 car just 1.725 seconds ahead of the #93 Porsche GT Team Porsche 911 RSR piloted by Nick Tandy.
Spirit of Race held the lead in the LMGTE Am category with its #54 Ferrari F488 GTE driven by Giancarlo Fisichella.
