Two-Car GT World Challenge Europe Campaign For Beechdean AMR

High Wycombe-based Beechdean AMR has announced that it will enter two cars for the 2022 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS, the first international programme for the team since 2019.

Beechdean AMR will enter the Endurance Cup which is contested over five rounds at Imola, Circuit Paul Ricard, Spa, Hockenheim and Barcelona.

Beechdean AMR has been hugely successful in GT racing, claiming the British GT Championship GT3 title in 2013 and 2015 with GT4 titles in 2014, 2015 and 2019. The team won the European Le Mans Series GTE title in 2016.

Howard has been announced as the first driver for the programme and he will be joined by Valentin Hasse-Clot and Theo Nouet.

Team Principal Andrew Howard is delighted to be returning to the international arena for the 2022 season.

“It’s fantastic to be able to announce our return to international motorsport in the GT World Challenge Europe,” said Andrew Howard. “It’s the first time we’ll have run a pair of GT3s internationally and we’re certainly aiming to be competitive from the get-go.

We’ve been front-runners in every series we’ve ever raced in and we’re serious about success. When we announce full details of the programme later this month, it will be clear how serious we are about achieving it.”

The Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS grid is currently testing at Le Castellet ahead of the opening round at Imola on April 1 -3.
