Ultimate Speed has announced that it will contest selected rounds of the 2021 Intelligent Money British GT Championship.

Matt Manderson and Mike Brown will form a Silver-Am partnership to drive the team’s Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 for four events. The duo have entered the opening round at Brands Hatch and will race at Donington and Snetterton before returning for the season finale at Donington in October.

Mike Brown is looking forward to returning to the premier domestic GT series for 2021.

“We always enjoyed our British GT outings – first and foremost we want to have fun so decided to increase our commitment this year after switching from old to new Vantage in 2021,” said Brown. “We should be closer to the established pairings with more testing and mileage, and Silver-Am gives us something to aim at.”

Brown and Manderson will be competing against three further Silver-Am partnerships in the form of Team ABBA Racing’s Richard and Sam Neary, Stewart and Lewis Proctor in the Balfe Motorsport entry and Simon Green Motorsport’s Lucky Khera and Ross Wylie.

The 2021 Intelligent Money British GT Championship gets underway at Brands Hatch on May 22 – 23 and, with the easing of COVID restrictions, spectators can attend.
