The Automobile Club de L’Ouest (ACO) has announced the dates for the 2017 Asian Le Mans Series Sprint Cup.
The 2017 Asian Le Mans Series Sprint Cup will be held over four rounds at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia on April 7-9. May 5-7, July 21-23 and August 18-20.
Each round will consist of two sixty-minute races, one each on the Saturday and Sunday of a race-weekend, with mandatory pit-stops and driver changes between the 25th and 35th minute of each race.
Each car can field a maximum of two drivers, one of whom must be ranked as Bronze. No Gold or Platinum drivers are allowed.
The series is open to entries from the LMP3, CN and GT Cup classes. The series winner from each class receives a free entry into the 2017/18 Asian Le Mans Series.
