Hyett, Delétraz and Cameron Join TF Sport and AO Racing for 2025 European Le Mans Series

TF Sport and AO Racing are set to return to the LMP2 class of the European Le Mans Series in 2025, competing in the Pro/Am category. The team will field the striking purple-and-orange ORECA 07 Gibson, known as ‘Spike’, a fan-favourite from the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The driver line-up for the 2025 campaign features AO Racing owner and driver PJ Hyett, 2023 FIA WEC LMP2 champion Louis Delétraz and 2024 Rolex 24 at Daytona winner Dane Cameron.

PJ Hyett: From Software to Speed

AO Racing was founded in 2022 by PJ Hyett, a 41-year-old American software developer and GitHub co-founder. That same year, Hyett began his racing career, competing in GT World Challenge America, GT America, Michelin Le Mans Cup, and FIA WEC.

In 2023 he entered the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, driving the #80 AO Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R alongside Seb Priaulx, Gunnar Jeannette and Harry Tincknell, finishing 16th in the GTD drivers’ standings. It was a bust season for the Chicago-based racer, who also made appearances in the FIA WEC and Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America.

Shifting his focus to prototype racing in 2024, Hyett competed in the Asian Le Mans Series with Proton Competition and ran a full LMP2 season in IMSA with the #99 AO Racing ORECA 07. A podium finish at Road America helped him secure 6th in the LPM2 drivers’ standings. Hyett teamed up with Louis Delétraz and Alex Quinn to finish 6th in the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans in the #14 AO by TF PRECA LMP2.

Louis Delétraz: A Proven Champion

Swiss driver Louis Delétraz returns to TF Sport after clinching the 2024 European Le Mans Series title with teammates Jonny Edgar and Robert Kubica in the #14 AO by TF Racing ORECA. The trio’s season as highlighted with a victory at Spa.

A dominant force in LMP2 racing, Delétraz previously won the 2021 ELMS title with Team WRT, alongside Yifei e and Robert Kubica, with wins at Barcelona, Spa and Austria, He continued his success in 2023, securing the FIA WEC LMP2 championship with Rui Andrade and Robert Kubica.

Dane Cameron: IMSA Ace Joins TF Sport

Highly experienced Dane Cameron will make his TYF Sport debut in 2025. The American has an impressive résumé, winning the GTD class in IMSA in 2014 and adding a Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2024. Driving the #7 Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963, he shared the top step of the podium with Matt Campbell, Felipe Nasr and Josef Newgarden.

Season Opener at Barcelona

TF Sport and AO Racing will take part in the Official Test at Circuit de Montmeló ahead of the 2025 European Le Mans Series opener on April 6 in Barcelona.
