TF Sport has announced that it will defend its GT4 title in the 2020 Intelligent Money British GT Championship with a pair of Aston Martin Vantages.
The first driver pairing to be declared will see Patrick Kibble returning for a second season with the Redhill-based team, who claimed its third class win in the LM GTE Am category of the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship at Circuit of the Americas, Texas yesterday.
Kibble will be joined by Connor O’Brien who has switched from Optimum Motorsport in a Silver Cup driver pairing.

“After a very positive debut season, I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running this year, using what I’ve learned,” said Kibble. “I’m delighted to be returning with TF Sport driving the Aston Martin Vantage, and also I’m also really excited to be sharing the car with Connor.
“Since we are both returning drivers, with a top car and team, I’m feeling confident that we can be challenging for the championship.”
Connor O’Brien is delighted that he can continue racing the historic British marque in 2020.
“I know the standard thing for everyone to say is that you’re excited for the year ahead but the package that’s been put together for our assault on the British GT title this year is genuinely exciting.
“I really wanted to stay with the Aston Martin product after a solid year of learning the new Vantage GT4, which prompted the move to 2019 champions TF Sport. I know, having raced against Patrick in our rookie year, that he has strong pace and is just as familiar with with the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 as I am.
” I think we are very capable of netting strong results.”
The 2020 Intelligent Money British GT Championship launches with the Media Day at Snetterton on Tuesday March 3 with the opening rounds at Oulton Park on the Easter weekend of April 11 – 13.
