Iron Dames Join Pro Category at Super Trofeo Grand Finals

Iron Lynx has announced that Iron Dames duo Doriane Pin and Michelle Gatting will be contest the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Grand Finals at Portimão from November 5 – 6.

Pin and Gatting, who, along with Sarah Bovy, took victory in the LMGTE category at the final round of the 2022 European Le Mans Series at the Autodromo do Algarve on their way to finishing third in the championship’s class standings, will compete in a Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2.

Iron Dames Project Founder Deborah Mayer is delighted to see Doriane Pin and Michelle Gatting competing again in Portugal.

“The goal for the Iron Dames project has always been to provide more opportunities for women in motorsport and raise the profile of their participation. We have an exceptional line-up with Doriane and Michelle who are both champions in their own right.

“I am very proud that the Iron Dames will take part in this prestigious race and I wish them every success this weekend.”

The weekend marks the culmination of highly successful season for 18-year-old Doriane Pin after the French pilot secured the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe title with Scuderi Niki – Iron Lynx as well as competing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

Iron Lynx is expected to announce further news about the next step in the Iron Dames journey in the coming days.
