2 Seas Motorsport, the team owned by Isa Al Khalifa and Nicholas Cristofaro which made its debut in the Intelligent Money British GT Championship in 2020, has announced that it will switch from McLaren to Mercedes-AMG for its 2021 campaigns.
2 Seas Motorsport took the overall win in the 2021 Gulf 12 Hours Bahrain in January when Isa Al Khalifa, Ben Barnicoat and Martin Kodric brought the team’s #33 McLaren 720S GT3 home one lap ahead of the #67 Dinamic Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R.
The team, which finished third in the GT3 teams standings in the 2020 British GT Championship, the premier GT domestic racing series, has confirmed that it will take shortly take delivery of a pair of new Mercedes-AMG GT3s.
With the opportunities for of travel within Europe still evolving, the team has yet to announce its racing plans for the forthcoming season.
Co-owner Isa Al Khalifa is looking forward to the new season with Mercedes-AMG.

“At 2 Seas Motorsport, we are always looking to take on the next challenge and to learn from our experiences and as a team we have grown and developed hugely over the past 12 months, and I am confident we will continue to build and get stronger throughout this coming season.”
The opening round of the 2021 Intelligent Money British GT Championship takes place at Brands Hatch on May 22 – 23.
