Phil Hanson Extends Contract as Ferrari Hypercar Driver

Ferrari has announced that Phil Hanson will remain with the marque as a Hypercar driver beyond the 2026 season.

Hanson, who, alongside Robert Kubica and Yifei Ye, won the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans in the #83 AF Corse Ferrari 499P, first joined the Prancing Horse stable at the start of the 2025 season after having gained experience in the senior class with Hertz Team Jota in the Porsche 963.

 “On the eve of the 2026 Lone Star Le Mans, we are delighted to announce the extension of the contractual agreement with Phil Hanson, a driver who joined the Ferrari official driver family at the beginning of the current season, continuing a professional career that had already seen him race the 499P from 2025,” said Antonello Coletta, Global Head of Endurance and Corse Clienti. “Since his debut with the Prancing Horse, Phil has provided a valuable contribution, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans on his debut as a Ferrari driver, together with his teammates in the number 83 crew fielded by AF Corse. An unforgettable achievement, which brought Ferrari its third consecutive victory in the classic French endurance race.”

Phil Hanson is delighted to be continuing his Hypercar journey with Ferrari.
