Iron Lynx has announced that Doriane Pin and Sarah Bovey will join Michelle Gatting to pilot the #85 Iron Dames Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2 in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship.
Pin will move to the LMGT3 category after a season racing in the LMP2 class with Prema Racing. Alongside teammate Daniel Kvyat, the 20-year-old French driver finished ninth in the LMP2 drivers standings.
Bovy, Pin and Gatting have significant experience racing together. Driving the #83 Iron Dames Lamborghini in the 2024 Rolex 24 at Daytona, the trio finished 6th in class, just one lap behind the GTD winners.
In the team’s #60 car, previously announced Claudio Schiavoni will be joined by Matteo Cressoni and Lamborghini factory driver Franck Perera. Cressoni will be embarking on his fourth season in the WEC while Perera will be making his debut.
Iron Lynx Team Principal and CEO Andrea Piccini is delighted at the squad’s driver line-ups for 2024.
“It is very exciting to be able to announce our complete line-up for the LMGT3 category in FIA WEC in 2024,” said Piccini. “Having already worked with Franck in the United States, I am very happy to have him join us on the global stage.
“Doriane’s progress in the last few years has been exceptional and I am thrilled to have her racing with us. She is an incredible talent and will compliment both Sarah and Michelle’s strength massively. It is also great to have Sarah and Matteo continue with the team after some stellar performances throughout 2023.”
The 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship gets underway at Qatar with the Official Prologue on February 24 – 25 followed by the opening round on March 2.
