United Autosports Unveils 2025 WEC Livery

United Autosports has unveiled the livery which will be presented on its McLaren GT3 EVO LMGT3 entries in the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship.

The livery draws heavily on the papaya which is a central theme of McLaren’s entries into F1, IndyCar and Formula E.

“It’s a very special year to be racing with McLaren in the WEC and our 2025 livery celebrates that,” said United Autosports CEO Richard Dean. “This season is about building on strong foundations, winning races and going for the championship title, and we are doing that in a car that is proudly, unmistakably McLaren.”

United Autosports’ two cars bear the race numbers #59 and #95. #59 references the race number of the McLaren F1 GTR which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995 in the hands of Yannick Dalmas, Masanori Sekiya and JJ Lehto with the #95 race number referring to the year of the victory.

McLaren Automotive CEO Michael Leiters is looking forward to the season ahead in the WEC.

“Now that we have proven the McLaren GT3 EVO’s speed and endurance at the highest level of competition, we enter the new season confident of competing for the WEC title with our Racing Partner United Autosports,” he said. “Racing is in the DNA of all our supercars and the WEC, with the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans at its heart, is the ideal competitive environment for them, so we are excited for what we can together deliver on the track this year.”

The 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship gets underway in Qatar with the Official Prologue on February 21 – 22 and the opening round, the Qatar 1812km, on February 28.
