Ziggo Sport Tempesta Racing reveals Enhanced Livery Ahead of Le Mans Debut

Ziggo Sport Tempesta Racing, with drivers Chris Froggatt, Jonathan Hui and Eddie Cheever III, has unveiled the livery that its #193 Ferrari 296LMGT3 will carry at the 93rd running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The car will be presented in the team’s signature white-and-orange livery, the colours of title sponsor Ziggo Sport and familiar to fans of the team’s GT World Challenge Europe entry but updated with official FIA WEC branding and the logos of new event-specific partners.

Drivers Froggatt, Hui and Cheever began racing together in 2019 with the goal of being invited to compete in the world’s greatest endurance race at Circuit de la Sarthe. Victory in the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe Bronze Cup Drivers’ Championship opened the door for the invitation which will see the trio on the grid at le Mans in June.

Title sponsor Ziggo Sport is a leading sports TV channel in the Netherlands operated by Ziggo, the largest cable operator in the Netherlands, and owned by Vodafone Ziggo.

For Tempesta Racing founder and driver Chris Froggatt, 2025 is the culmination of a journey that started six years prior.

“From our first campaign together in 2019, it’s always been a dream to get the opportunity to drive at the 24 Hours of Le Mans,” he said. “I am immensely proud to be able to have realised this dream with Eddie and Jon. It feels surreal to me to be in the position to participate in such a legendary event with two such good friends and teammates.

“I’m excited for the challenge and to live the dream. The race will be extremely tough with such a competitive and equally matched grid, but as ever I am going to put everything into this race and am confident that we can have the success we desire.”

Jonthan Hui, the grandson of Hong Kong shipping and property entrepreneur Hui Sai Fun, is excited about the challenges he and his teammates face on their debut at Le Mans.

“I couldn’t be happier to drive alongside my teammates Chris and Eddie, as this has been our common goal since we started working together in 2019,” said Hui. “The learning curve will be steep given our limited testing and experience with the LMGT3 specification car compared with many of our competitors, but I will give 100% to try and bring home a good result.”

Eddie Cheever III has previous experience at Le Mans and understands the challenges that the 13.6km circuit can offer.

“Le Mans is one of those races every driver dreams of doing at least once in their life,” he said. “I’ve been lucky to experience it twice already but this year feels even more special: by my side are two friends, first and foremost, and great drivers as well.

“It’s going to be an incredibly tough race, as always, but we’ll give it everything we have to make it one to remember.”

Ziggo Sport Tempesta currently lies 11th in the GT World Challenge Powered by AWS Bronze Team standings.
